About us

We are former teachers of Russian language at Centre of Continuing Education of Sydney University. Recently, the University closed the Russian language program, but we are still having abilities and wishes to teach the Russian using our materials and methodology that we have developed over more than 10 years of work at the University. We also have extensive experience in teaching Russian in Europe, Africa, and Asia. Right now, we have students from New South Wels, Queensland, and Victoria. All of them are happy to learn the language with us according to our teaching materials and methodology.

Student Testimonials

By this stage, the instructor and course participants knew each other well and
there was a lot of laughing and joking. The facilitator was able to differentiate her interactions with the students based on their ability. Zoom has some disadvantages but they are offset by the convenience it offers allowing students to participate from many locations.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Russian classes and my wonderful tutor Katia. I have
tried doing Russian through other institutions but this one is the very best, interesting professional, and fun! The only thing I don’t like is that there are too many students in the class! Although the teacher does an excellent job in managing this I don’t believe any more than 10 students is conducive to good teaching practices.

The course could not be improved- it has left me with an ongoing ability to solve problems in the language without excessive tuition. I could not expect a better teacher than Katia. Highly recommended.

I recently completed an introductory course in the Russian language and I must say, it was a delightful experience. This course, helmed by an incredibly proficient and dedicated teacher, was not only informative but also incredibly enjoyable. The tutor brought a wealth of knowledge and was extremely skilled in breaking down complex language constructs into digestible, easy-to-understand components. Their approach to teaching was remarkably thorough, leaving no stone unturned in ensuring we grasped the fundamentals of Russian grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. What truly set this course apart, however, was our teacher’s ability to make the learning experience enjoyable. Each lesson was designed to be interactive, fostering an environment that encouraged us to engage with the material actively, rather than simply memorize it. Moreover, the teacher was always available and approachable, eager to provide extra assistance whenever needed. As a result, this course proved to be more than just an introduction to the Russian language. It was a holistic cultural immersion that spurred a genuine interest in me to continue exploring this beautiful language further. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to dive into the rich and intriguing world of Russian language.
