Syllables with ‘К’ and ‘Т’

Words are made up of syllables. A syllable is a combination of consonant and vowel sounds. The number of syllables in a word is determined by the number of vowels.

Similarly to the exercises in the first lesson this practice set will get you accustomed to common syllables in Russian Language. Please pay attention and ensure that your pronunciation matches that in the audio aid!

Students who take this seriously have fewer difficulties pronouncing longer and more complex Russian words. This exercise will also help you easily acquire that authentic Russian accent.

Read the syllable pairs out loud. Repeat 5 times or until you can read confidently without the audio aid.
